Bongi’s story is that of an inter-racial marriage and the challenges of raising a mixed child in South Africa.

They left no stone unturned as she discussed racism, baby wearing, breast feeding and local wild life.

Maria Kang titled this post “A New Chapter” for obvious reasons. 

She discussed her perseverance and dedication to save her marriage, which after several years, became clear it was best to let go.

And admitted they were not staying for their children, but instead, separating to write a new, unique and beautiful chapter for them.

"If you’ve found yourself thinking “I have no support system,” you know it’s unbelievably lonely and hard. There is no one there to tell you that you matter, you are worthy, you are deserving and you should take breaks. Unfortunately, we have to be the ones to tell ourselves that."
